PERICOAT VA 140
Self-crosslinking vinyl acetate for coating and impregnation of textiles
PERICOAT VA 140 is used for stiffening finishes and coating of technical textiles. It can be used as well in combination with other polymers. Pretrials are recommended when mixing various polymers.
PERICOAT VA 140 is a self-crosslinking (at 160 °C) copolymer of vinyl acetate and acrylate. The product forms very hard and brittle films. Coatings with PERICOAT VA 140 are characterised by their flexibility and high frequency weldability. PERICOAT VA 140 is best suitable for combining with flame retardant agents.
