EKAFIN 2 P

EKAFIN 2 P is a smoothing agent for warp yarns which is added to the sizing bath. The product can be used for all kinds of fibres and types of weaving machines, also for water-jet weaving machines. EKAFIN 2 P is compatible with other common sizing agents.

Yarns finished with EKAFIN 2 P obtain a smooth and soft surface. Abrasion and thread breakages during the weaving process are reduced. Furthermore the product considerably reduces the formation of dust. EKAFIN 2 P does not create foam and shows defoaming properties in sizing baths. The product can easily be washed out. A hot wash at minimum 80 °C using 1 g/l PERLAVIN PE is recommended.
