Degumming agent for silk, washing agent on natural basis
PERLAVIN LMO has been especially designed for the degumming of silk as yarn or woven fabric.
The degumming of silk can be carried out on star frames, jiggers, winch becks, HT dyeing machines or continuous machines.
Because of the environmental compatibility of its components it can be used also for the washing of all other fibres if mild conditions and the use of natural detergents are requested.
PERLAVIN LMO is a washing agent on the basis of natural raw materials and possesses a high wetting power and a very good emulsifying capacity for oils and fats.
The product is an excellent degumming agent for silk. It effects a quick and uniform degumming without deteriorating the fibre. The silk degummed with PERLAVIN LMO maintains its tenacity and gains a good lustre. After degumming the silk shows good absorbency so that the fabric is perfectly prepared for the following dyeing or printing. PERLAVIN LMO also stabilizes peroxide. Thus, bleaching with degumming at the same time is possible.
PERLAVIN LMO, in addition, is an excellent dispersing agent so that it can be added to the dyeing to avoid precipitations.
