PERIXEN 151

PERIXEN 151 is an excellent lubricant for sewing threads, which is applied by lick roll technique. Compared to lubricants on emulsion basis PERIXEN 151 has the advantage of being non-aqueous and therefore no drying is necessary after its application. The product provides synthetic sewing threads with the necessary smoothness and heat resistance. Threads treated with PERIXEN 151 have a low slip resistance. The good frictional properties avoid a stick slip effect. The heat of the needle caused by high speed sewing is transferred to the thread and absorbed by the layer of PERIXEN 151. This way sewing even under severe conditions is possible. The adhesion of PERIXEN 151 is very good. No abrasion during the sewing process will occur. PERIXEN 151 is indifferent to dyestuffs and fibres, a migration of dyestuff will not be created. Sewing threads which have been finished with PERIXEN 151 do not tend to yellowing during storage. PERIXEN 151 does not cause any corrosion on coating machines.
