Bleaching of cellulose and polyamide fibres, wool and silk. It is more appropriate to pre-bleach natural fibres with hydrogen peroxide.
With natural fibres an excellent whitening effect can be achieved by the combination of an oxidation bleach followed by a reduction bleach.
With synthetic fibres and regenerated cellulose fibres a pre-bleach with peroxide is not necessary.
PERISTAL IN is a stabilised reductive bleaching agent for bleaching of cellulose, polyamide, wool and silk.
Besides the reducing agent the product contains all necessary additives like for example stabilisers, complexing agent and pH buffers.
Due to the good stabilising effect PERISTAL IN liquors maintain their bleaching activity for a longer period than liquors with non-stabilised sodium hydrosulphite. Further to the stabilising effect which is necessary to achieve good bleaching results PERISTAL IN disposes of an excellent sequestering power for heavy metal ions.
PERISTAL IN removes active chlorine and possible chloramines quickly. The product is also applicable for reductive afterscouring of polyester dyeings.
