Buffer for dyeings of polyester with disperse dyes, pH adjustment according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100
PERISTAL CSL is used for the setting of pH-value 4 – 6.
Contrary to volatile acids (acetic acid and formic acid) the pH-value set by means of PERISTAL CSL remains stable when dyeing polyester, polyamide and wool even at high dyeing temperatures.
PERISTAL CSL is well suitable to adjust a slightly acid pH-value of the fabric in accordance to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. Since PERISTAL CSL is not volatile during drying and storing, the goods remain constantly acid.
In order to reduce the yellowing during storage PERISTAL CSL is applicable during softening of white goods and pastel shades.
PERISTAL CSL is used as a buffer to adjust acid pH-values. PERISTAL CSL is applied in dyeing baths for the dyeing of polyester, polyamide and wool. During such processes PERISTAL CSL replaces acids, acidic salts or phosphate buffers. The pH-value is set stable and does not change during the whole dyeing process at higher temperature.
PERISTAL CSL has no negative effect on light and wet fastnesses of dyeings or printings. The buffer system is free of phosphate.
