PERISTAL CMA

PERISTAL CMA is used to adjust slightly acid pH-values in various wet finishing processes, for example dyeing baths for the dyeing of polyester, polyamide and wool. The product acts as buffer to neutralize goods after alkaline processes, for example alkaline scouring and bleaching of cellulosic fibres. During these processes PERISTAL CMA replaces acids, acid salts or phosphate buffers. The pH-value is set stable and does not change when temperature is increased. Advantages of PERISTAL CMA: -applicable in a wide variety of processes (in dye and finishing baths, neutralization processes, resin finish, prevention of storage yellowing etc.) -setting of stable pH-values -does not affect the fibre compared to mineral acids -no corrosion of machines or stenters -free of phosphate PERISTAL CMA has no negative effect on light and wet fastnesses of dyeings or printings. PERISTAL CMA can be used to set the pH-value of the goods according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
