PERISTAL 6910

PERISTAL 6910 is an excellent dispersant and sequestering agent for strongly alkaline liquors. The product is stable to hydrolysis. The product is used in mercerising liquors to avoid precipitations and deposits on suction tubes and in the evaporating unit. Due to its excellent dispersing effect the ash contents of the fabrics or yarns are reduced. PERISTAL 6910 supports the efficiency of wetting agents. PERISTAL 6910 has a capacity of binding calcium at pH 14 of 60 mg calcium per gram PERISTAL 6910. The capacity of binding iron at pH 14 is 140 mg iron (III) per gram PERISTAL 6910. At pH 10 the average calcium binding capacity of PERISTAL 6910 amounts 30 mg calcium and the iron (III) binding capacity 600 mg iron per gram PERISTAL 6910.
