PERISORB UVP liq. is a reactive UV-absorber for dyeing and printing textiles made of cellulose, polyamide and mixtures thereof. It increases the ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) of garment as well as the UPF and colour light fastness of technical textiles.
PERISORB UVP liq. gives maximum and permanent protection against UV-radiation. It is a reactive product and shows excellent degrees of exhaustion and fixation. No finishing or coating is necessary.
The product may impair the effect of optical brightening agents, no matter if the optical brightening agent is applied before, during, or after the application of PERISORB UVP liq. Therefore, we do not recommend the application of PERISORB UVP liq. in case of optically brightened cellulose fibres.
The product shows weak absorption in the UV-A-II region, strong absorption in the UV-A-I region, and maximum absorption in the UV-B region.
