PERISOFT MSA/EW

PERISOFT MSA/EW offers textiles a very soft, comfortably smooth handle and a good sewability. The product leads to a high resilience and increases the dimensional stability of knitted fabrics. The tendency to creasing of textiles is reduced. PERISOFT MSA/EW improves the absorbency of the finished fabric and thus offers hydrophilic and wicking effects on cotton fibres and its blends as well as on synthetic fibres. Thus a moisture management effect can be obtained. Using PERISOFT MSA/EW the antistatic properties of the finished material are improved what has a favourable effect especially on synthetic fibres. PERISOFT MSA/EW is resistant to sublimation and shows a very low yellowing tendency even at high drying temperatures. Due to the very good shear resistance and the good substantivity of PERISOFT MSA/EW the application can also be proceeded in exhaustion process on jet machines. PERISOFT MSA/EW contains high amounts of edelweiss extract. To this extract a high amount of antioxidants is ascribed to. The antioxidants are known to be radical scavengers. In cosmetics industry edelweiss extract is added to anti aging or sun protection products. In order to not affect adversely the edelweiss extract, PERISOFT MSA/EW should be dried as carefully as possible. Temperatures up to 100 °C are advantageous.
