Highly effective silicone softener with silk protein
PERISOFT CM SILK is suitable for native and synthetic fibres. Particularly pleasing results are achieved on polyamide, wool and wool blends as well as on polyester/cotton.
The silicones and fatty acid amides contained in PERISOFT CM SILK give very soft handle effects to the finished textiles. The silk proteins offer additional smoothness to the textile surface. By using PERISOFT CM SILK the sewability of the finished fabrics is significantly improved.
The product leads to a high resilience and increases the dimensional stability of knitted fabrics. The tendency of textiles to creasing is reduced.
PERISOFT CM SILK is resistant to sublimation and shows a very low yellowing tendency. It can be used also on whites without losses in degree of whiteness, provided that the drying temperature does not exceed 130 °C.
