Additive to prevent premature drying of printing pastes and to improve the printing properties
PERIPRINT DR is used as an additiv in printing pastes. For this issue the product can be added to the formulation followed by a stirring process. When adding PERIPRINT DR to ready made printing pastes it has to be noticed, that due to the addition of PERIPRINT DR there might be a decrease of viscosity.
PERIPRINT DR is a mixture of various hygroscopic substances and aliphatic esters. The product reduces the drying speed of printing pastes on respectively inside screens. Thus PERIPRINT DR improves significantly the printing properties when printing e.g. at high room temperature, high mesh sizes or with high pigment concentration.
Normally there is no deterioration of fastness properties when applied within the recommended quantity.
