All kinds of wet finishing processes where the wool is exposed to harmful influences, above all in chrome dyeing, 1:2-metal complex dyeing, shading, levelling or brightening of dyeings as well as in the dyeing of wool/polyester blends under high temperature conditions.
PERILAN EW is used in all kinds of wet finishing processes. PERILAN EW as a protein has a chemical constitution similar to wool. By this an equilibrium establishes in the bath between PERILAN EW and proteins dissolved from the wool. This way a larger loss of substance as well as a stronger harm to the wool is avoided.
PERILAN EW is biodegradable and, therefore, environmentally harmless.
