Fluorocarbon based on C6-chemistry for the water and oil repellent finishing
PERIGUARD FCH is used for water and oil repellent finishing of native and synthetic fibres. To avoid a negative influence of the water and oil repellent effects the following factors must be taken into account:
-no residual alkali on the fabric
-free of surface-active substances (for example residual surfactants)
-no silicone residues on the fabric or in the machines
-good pretreatment of the fabric (complete removal of sizes, lubricants, preparations)
PERIGUARD FCH is a fluorocarbon product based on C6-chemistry for the water and oil repellent finishing of textiles made from synthetic and native fibres, such as cotton or wool, as well as their blends.
The finishings with PERIGUARD FCH show a good wash resistance. By a combination with an extender the permanence can be further improved. The restoration of the hydrophobic and oleophobic effects after the wash necessitates a heat treatment (ironing or tumbling).
