PERIFOAM AFL is used in washing, bleaching, dyeing, printing and in finishing processes to prevent foam formation.
The product is very stable in liquor and does not cause any silicone spots on the fabric even in case of strong liquor circulation and cloth passage at high speed. Therefore, it is applicable on jet machines as well.
PERIFOAM AFL is a highly effective silicone based antifoaming agent for solutions of surfactants. It can be applied in acid and alkaline media with the exception of causticization and mercerizing baths. Due to its high stability PERIFOAM AFL can also be applied on jets.
The product develops its action in cold as well as in hot liquors, particularly at temperatures above 100 °C.
