PERIFIL SOG/R

PERIFIL SOG/R is an excellent lubricant for sewing threads, which is applied by lick roll technique or similar systems. It is almost odourless and contains corrosion inhibiting additives. PERIFIL SOG/R offers synthetic sewing threads the necessary smoothness and heat resistance. This is achieved by selected waxes and highly viscous silicone oils. The adhesion of PERIFIL SOG/R on the fibre is excellent, therefore an abrasion during subsequent sewing is avoided. The threads finished with PERIFIL SOG/R show good gliding values. There is no stick slip effect. The increased abrasion fastness of the threads finished with PERIFIL SOG/R and their perfect sewability even under severe sewing conditions is remarkable. The heat of the needle caused by high speed sewing is transferred to the thread where it is effectively absorbed by the lubricant. PERIFIL SOG/R is indifferent to dyestuffs and fibres. There is no migration of dyestuff.
