Self-crosslinking copolymer of acrylate and vinyl acetate for coating and impregnation of textiles
PERICOAT AC 240 is used for stiffening finishes and coating of technical textiles.
It can be used as well in combination with other polymers. Pretrials are recommended when mixing various polymers.
PERICOAT AC 240 is a self-crosslinking (at 150 °C) copolymer of acrylate and vinyl acetate. The product forms very hard, viscoplastic films. PERICOAT AC 240 shows a good resistance to ageing and especially after crosslinking a very good resistance to water.
