PERIXEN 1176

PERIXEN 1176 is an excellent lubricant for sewing threads as well as for embroidery yarns which is applied by precision pump systems. Compared to lubricants on emulsion basis PERIXEN 1176 has the advantage of being non-aqueous and therefore no drying is necessary after its application. It provides synthetic sewing yarns with the necessary smoothness and a very good heat resistance. Since PERIXEN 1176 contains no paraffin waxes the lustre of the yarns is not affected unlike products based on classical oil/wax combinations. This is especially important in case of embroidery yarns. Threads treated with PERIXEN 1176 have a low slip resistance. The good frictional properties avoid a stick-slip effect. The heat of the needle caused by high speed sewing is transferred to the thread and absorbed by the layer of PERIXEN 1176. This way sewing even under severe conditions is possible. The adhesion of PERIXEN 1176 is very good. No abrasion during the sewing process will occur. PERIXEN 1176 is indifferent to dyestuffs and fibres, a migration of dyestuff will not be created. Yarns finished with PERIXEN 1176 do not tend to yellowing during storage. The product does not cause any corrosion on machinery.
