PERIXEN CM 133

PERIXEN CM 133 is an excellent lubricant for sewing threads, which is applied by lick roll technique. Compared to lubricants on emulsion basis the product has the advantage of being non-aqueous and therefore, no drying is necessary after its application. PERIXEN CM 133 provides synthetic sewing threads with the necessary smoothness and heat resistance. Threads treated with PERIXEN CM 133 have an even and low friction value. The good frictional properties avoid a stick slip effect. Compared to pure silicone oils the dosage of PERIXEN CM 133 can be reduced up to 30 % without loss of frictional performance. The heat of the needle caused by high speed sewing is transferred to the thread and absorbed by the layer of PERIXEN CM 133. This way sewing of yarns made of synthetic fibres even under severe conditions is possible. The adhesion of PERIXEN CM 133 is very good, so that no abrasion during the sewing process will occur. PERIXEN CM 133 is indifferent to dyestuffs and fibres. Sewing threads which have been finished with the product do not tend to yellowing during storage. PERIXEN CM 133 does not cause any corrosion.
