Boiling-off of cotton fibres, alkaline treatment of viscose, wetting and washing in peroxide, chlorite and hypochlorite bleaching processes, wetting on dyeing machines and in pad baths.
PERIWET WLG possesses good wetting characteristics and high emulsifying properties for oils and fats as well as very high soil suspending properties.
The product can be used in acidic, neutral or alkaline applications in the whole range of temperatures. However, it cannot be used for mercerising.
Fabrics pretreated with PERIWET WLG show a good absorbency.
