PERISTAL LT liq.

PERISTAL LT liq. is an activator for the peroxide bleaching in long liquors. Due to the activating effect of PERISTAL LT liq. on peroxide at alkaline pH value, the bleaching temperature during bleaching of cellulosic fibres and their blends with synthetics can be reduced to 70 – 80 °C. The lower bleaching temperature allows particularly gentle pretreatment before dyeing. Compared to a bleaching at higher temperatures, the natural handle of the cotton fibre is maintained. Moreover, the tendency to create crease marks is reduced, particularly with heavy and closely knitted fabrics. Besides its activation properties, PERISTAL LT liq. provides good wetting properties. PERISTAL LT liq. is very low foaming. Therefore, it is applicable on jets and other dyeing machines with high liquor turbulences.
