PERISTAL IST is an excellent stabiliser for peroxide bleaching. PERISTAL IST can be applied in cold pad batch as well as in hot bleaching. It is used for stabilising the alkaline bleaching liquors at high temperatures.
PERISTAL IST is highly resistant against alkali and can be added to highly concentrated alkaline solutions. PERISTAL IST is free of silicate and does not cause deposits.
PERISTAL IST protects from catalytic damage of the fibre when heavy metals in ionic form are present. However, it does not protect against metallic contaminations. In this case an acid pretreatment is recommended.
