PERISTAL EHF is added to the rinsing bath in case of wet and moist curing. In case of dry curing the auxiliary is applied in a separate rinsing step after condensation. In case of high contents of formaldehyde, two rinsing baths are recommended for continuous processes.
PERISTAL EHF reacts with formaldehyde and binds it. In case of fabrics having a too high content of free formaldehyde after condensation, the application of PERISTAL EHF during rinsing can reduce the content of formaldehyde so that the fabric fulfills Oeko-Tex standards.
