Acid donor and buffer for dyeing and for acidifying
PERISTAL DC conc. is used for the setting of acid pH values in a range of pH 4 – 6.
Contrary to volatile acids (acetic and formic acid) the pH value set with PERISTAL DC conc. remains stable even during longer dyeing processes.
PERISTAL DC conc. is perfectly suitable for continuous dyeing of polyester, acrylics and wool by pad steam process or for printing with disperse dyes.
An addition of PERISTAL DC conc. is also recommended for neutralising of alkaline pre-treated or dyed cellulosic fibres or blends with cellulosics. In case of white goods optical brighteners with a sufficient acid stability have to be used.
PERISTAL DC conc. is used as buffer and to adjust acid pH values. The product is used in dye baths for the dyeing of polyester, polyamide and wool. The pH value is set stable and does not change during the whole dyeing process even at higher temperatures.
PERISTAL DC conc. is used for acidifying cellulose fibres after bleaching, dyeing and many other processes as replacement for acetic acid.
PERISTAL DC conc. has no negative influence on light and wet fastnesses of dyeings or printings.
