Acid donor and buffer for dyeing and for acidifying
PERISTAL CSP liq. is used for the setting of acid pH values in a range of pH 4 – 6.
Contrary to volatile acids (acetic and formic acid) the pH value set with PERISTAL CSP liq. remains stable even during longer dyeing processes.
PERISTAL CSP liq. is perfectly suitable for pH setting of the fabric according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. By adding PERISTAL CSP liq. to the final bath a slightly acid pH value on the fabric can be obtained. Since PERISTAL CSP liq. is not volatile the pH value of goods remains slightly acid.
An addition of PERISTAL CSP liq. is also recommended for pH setting of softening baths of white goods and pastel shades in order to reduce the yellowing during storage. In case of white goods optical brighteners with a sufficient acid stability have to be used.
PERISTAL CSP liq. is used as buffer and to adjust acid pH values. The product is used in dye baths for the dyeing of polyester, polyamide and wool. The pH value is set stable and does not change during the whole dyeing process even at higher temperatures.
PERISTAL CSP liq. is used for acidifying cellulose fibres after bleaching, dyeing and many other processes as replacement for acetic acid.
PERISTAL CSP liq. has no negative influence on light and wet fastnesses of dyeings or printings.
