Acidic sodium chlorite bleach of cellulosic or synthetic fibres, especially acrylic on stainless steel machinery.
The optimal pH for the acid sodium chlorite bleach is the range of 3.5 to 4.5. During bleaching the pH shifts towards stronger acidic values, thus reducing the speed of bleaching. By means of PERISTAL CL this effect can be avoided and the pH can be kept in the optimal range over the whole bleaching process. The nuisance by set free odours of chlorine dioxide is prevented.
PERISTAL CL contains components which protect the stainless steel machinery from corrosion. The product is free of foam.
