PERISTAL CES is used for the setting of pH values between 6.0 – 6.5. Even with higher amounts used the pH value does not significantly decrease below pH 6.0 which is especially advantageous in case of optically brightened fabric as this way a strong lowering of the pH value and thus a greening of the optical brightener can be avoided.
PERISTAL CES is used as a buffer to adjust acid pH values. The usage of the product allows for the setting of a stable slightly acid to neutral pH value after bleaching or dyeing of cotton fabrics. This avoids respectively retards a possible storage yellowing. When using PERISTAL CES pH value according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 can be met.
