PERIPLEX DC

PERIPLEX DC is a surfactant free, totally foam free and highly active complexing agent and acid donor. The product can be used for a wide variety of applications: Demineralisation / Acid pre-treatment The fabric is liberated from disturbing earth alkali and heavy metals impurities. During the treatment metal particles are converted into their ionic form. Thus the risk of a catalytic decomposition of peroxide in the subsequent alkaline hydrogen peroxide bleach and damage of fibres connected with it is significantly reduced. Incrustation inhibitor PERIPLEX DC is able to decompose existing calcium soap deposits and to dissolve them. The formation of hardly soluble earth alkali precipitations on machine parts or on fabric are reduced. PERIPLEX DC acts in the substoichiometric range. It has a very high dispersing effect. Should precipitations still occur, the crystal-growth prohibiting effect ensures that they are small enough to be easily rinsed out. Neutralising / Buffering In the neutralising process after alkaline treatments, for example boiling, mercerizing or bleaching, PERIPLEX DC replaces organic acids (formic or acetic acid).
