PERIGUARD FSR is used for the soil release finishing of native and synthetic fibres.
In order to avoid a negative influence of the effects the following has to be considered with the textiles to be finished:
-no residual alkali on the fabric
-free of surface-active substances (for example residual tensides)
-no silicone residues on the fabric or in the machines
-good pretreatment of the fabric (complete removal of sizes, lubricants, preparations)
PERIGUARD FSR is used to achieve soil release properties especially on cotton and cotton/polyester blends. Very good soil release properties, however, can also be achieved on other fibres.
PERIGUARD FSR not only offers the fabric an excellent removal of stains or dirt by household laundering (= soil release properties), but also a good oil repellence.
By a combination with PERIGUARD EXT NEW (Extender) the wash resistance of the finishing can be improved.
