Fluorocarbon based on C6-chemistry for the water and oil repellent finishing
PERIGUARD CSF liq. is used for water and oil repellent finishing of native and synthetic fibres.
To avoid a negative influence of the water and oil repellent effects the following factors must be taken into account:
-no residual alkali on the fabric
-free of surface-active substances (for example residual surfactants)
-no silicone residues on the fabric or in the machines
-good pretreatment of the fabric (complete removal of sizes, lubricants, preparations)
PERIGUARD CSF liq. is a fluorocarbon product based on C6-chemistry for the water and oil repellent finishing of textiles made from synthetic and native fibres, such as cotton or wool, as well as their blends.
The finishings with PERIGUARD CSF liq. show a good wash resistance. By a combination with an extender the permanence can be further improved. The restoration of the hydrophobic and oleophobic effects after the wash necessitates a heat treatment (ironing or tumbling).
PERIGUARD CSF liq. can be applied by padding as well as by exhaustion process. The product is especially suitable for the finishing of yarns. Yarn cones are dried at 100 °C for at least 1 hour. Yarn finishes with PERIGUARD CSF liq. show even after mechanical influence (for example rewinding, sewing process) still good repellent effects.
