Reducing agent for stripping of dyeings and discharge printing
PERIGEN ZMS develops an efficient reducing action during heating under acid conditions. Thus dyeings on wool, wool blends, polyamide, polyester and acetate the dyestuffs can be totally or partly destroyed and almost completely stripped.
PERIGEN ZMS is recommended for stripping of dyeings on wool, acetate, triacetate, polyester and polyamide. Stripping is carried out in acid medium and at temperatures above 80 °C. The pH value should not be below pH 3 since otherwise PERIGEN ZMS is decomposed. PERIGEN ZMS is not suitable for stripping in alkaline and neutral baths.
PERIGEN ZMS can also be used as a reducing agent for discharge printing.
