PERIGUM A/NV 8 is suitable for reactive printing on cotton on all types of printing machines. Furthermore, it is suitable for the printing with disperse, acid and direct dyes, alone or in combination with other thickeners.
PERIGUM A/NV 8 is a low viscous sodium alginate.
The product is not preserved. Under adverse conditions using a preserving agent is recommended.
The dried thickener film can be easily washed off. For hard water (>12 °dH) the addition of a sequestering agent is advised. For the printing on polyester with superheated steam or hot air curing a very soft handle can be attained by using a blend with PERIGUM S/WS.
