Lick roll lubricant for polyester and polyamide sewing threads and embroidery yarns
Lubricant for filament or fibre yarn sewing threads and embroidery yarns of polyester and polyamide to be applied by the lick roll technique.
PERIFIL FRA/M is an excellent lubricant for sewing threads. It is applied by lick roll technique.
It contains anti-corrosive additives and therefore does not cause any problems on lick-roll devices which do not in all parts consist of stainless steel.
The product provides synthetic sewing threads with the necessary smoothness and heat resistance. This is achieved by special silicone oils and carefully selected additives. The product does contain very low amounts of waxes only. The adhesion of PERIFIL FRA/M to the fibre is excellent, thus avoiding an abrasion during sewing. Threads treated with PERIFIL FRA/M offer good gliding properties; a stick-slip effect is avoided.
The increased abrasion resistance of the threads treated with PERIFIL FRA/M and their perfect sewability even under difficult sewing conditions is remarkable. The heat of the needle caused by high speed sewing is transferred to the thread where it is effectively absorbed by the lubricant. PERIFIL FRA/M does not affect dyestuffs and fibres therefore a migration of dyestuff will not be caused.
