Self-crosslinking polymer compound for the impregnation and coating of technical textiles
PERICOAT MTF NEW/2 is used for the finishing of tent fabrics and other technical textiles.
In combination with other polymers the film hardness and thus the handle of the fabric can vary. It has to be considered, however, that the coating properties (water repellence, flame retardant effect) can change due to the mixture with other polymers. For this reason pre-trials are absolutely necessary.
PERICOAT MTF NEW/2 is a self-crosslinking polymer compound based on polyvinyl chloride. The self-crosslinking takes place at 150 °C.
The addition of antimony trioxide, flame retardants based on halogens and fluorocarbon resin the finished textile is provided with very good flame retardant and water repellent properties.
