PERIBLANC DP liq.

PERIBLANC DP liq. is a fluorescent whitening agent with medium affinity having a neutral shade. The product is very well suitable to be used in the pad process like for example in cold pad batch or pad steam bleaching. PERIBLANC DP liq. is not suitable for cold pad batch bleaching with simultaneous desizing with persulfate. PERIBLANC DP liq. shows excellent resistance to acid. Therefore, the optical brightener is usually applicable in resin finishing liquors up to pH 3.5. Pre-trials are recommended. When using optical brighteners in general it must be noted that already minor traces of heavy metals lead to an impairment of the degree of whiteness. This can be avoided by adding an complexing agent such as PERIQUEST BSD.
